Features

Offline, verified, never silent

Streaming from your own server is great until the network drops. RoadSonic treats offline as the normal case: a pinned reserve, resumable album downloads and an on-device index that never needs the server to answer.

A pinned reserve of complete tracks

Choose 20, 30 or 60 minutes in Settings › Audio cache. RoadSonic keeps that much fully downloaded, verified audio on the device at all times, refills it while you listen and shows “Ready for the road” once it is complete.

Album downloads you can trust

Download any album for a road trip. Downloads are visible, resume after a lost connection, are verified after transfer and are never evicted automatically. Choose a cache budget of 2, 5, 10 or 20 GB; RoadSonic manages the rest.

Search and browse without a connection

The whole library — artists, albums, tracks, favorites, play counts — is indexed on the iPhone. Search, alphabet navigation, sorting and smart playlists work offline, instantly, even when the server is slow or unreachable.

Frequently asked questions

No. Audio cache, downloaded albums and imported local files are excluded from iCloud backup so they never inflate it.

The oldest unpinned files are evicted first. The reserve and downloaded albums are protected; you can raise the budget up to 20 GB in Settings.

Apple Music downloads and cache are managed by Apple. Protected tracks are never copied into RoadSonic's cache.
