Sound you control, per output

The same album should not sound the same on the car speakers and on in-ear headphones. RoadSonic keeps a separate sound profile for every output and recalls it automatically.

10-band equalizer with presets

Shape the sound with ten bands, starting from presets or adjusting each band yourself, with a protected preamp that never clips. Each output — iPhone speaker, wired headphones, Bluetooth, CarPlay, AirPlay — remembers its own equalizer.

Loudness normalization and gapless

Level the volume per track or per album: loudness is measured on the device while playing, so it works with any server and any file. Albums play gapless, and a configurable crossfade (0 to 12 seconds) blends tracks outside album playback.

AirPlay and lossless

Stream FLAC and ALAC from your server as-is, or let the server transcode according to its own settings. Send the sound to any AirPlay speaker or receiver.

Frequently asked questions

Apple Music playback is managed by Apple; the RoadSonic equalizer applies to tracks streamed from your servers and to local files.

They are measured on the device during playback, not read from tags, so normalization works with every server, every format and local files alike.

Yes. Between two tracks of the same album, gapless mode takes priority. The crossfade duration goes from 0 (off) to 12 seconds and is saved per output profile.
